Privacy Policy

Bettor AI ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Questions and Verdicts

When you submit a prediction question, your question text and the resulting verdict are stored in our secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase, hosted in the European Union) so you can view your history across devices.

Authentication

We offer sign-in via Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In. We receive only your user identifier and email address from these services. We do not collect your name, physical address, phone number, or financial information.

Subscription State

If you purchase Bettor Premium, our payment processor (RevenueCat, on top of Apple App Store or Google Play billing) records your purchase, renewal, and entitlement state. We never see your payment-card details.

Analytics

We may collect anonymous usage data such as screen views, feature usage frequency, and crash reports to improve reliability. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally. No advertising identifiers are collected.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To generate AI verdicts in response to your questions
  • To maintain your verdict history across devices
  • To enforce daily usage quotas (free vs premium)
  • To process subscriptions, renewals, and refunds
  • To improve the app experience through anonymous analytics

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. AI Processing

When you ask a question, your question text is sent to our AI providers (Anthropic and/or OpenAI) for processing. Requests are routed through OpenRouter, an API routing service that directs requests to AI providers without storing your content. The AI providers process your data in real-time and do not retain your content after the verdict is complete. Your data is not used to train AI models.

To enrich the verdict, Bettor also performs an automated web search and a Polymarket Gamma API lookup. These services receive keywords derived from your question but not your account identifiers.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Cloud data is stored in the European Union (Supabase) with strict access controls
  • All data transmissions use TLS/SSL encryption
  • Authentication is handled by industry-standard providers (Google, Apple)
  • Subscription state is managed by RevenueCat with industry-standard security
  • Your data is retained until you delete your account. Upon account deletion, all personal data, questions, and verdicts are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days

5. Your Rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

You can delete your account and all data directly from the app (Settings > Delete Account). This action permanently removes your questions, verdicts, and subscription state from our servers.

6. Children's Privacy

Bettor AI is rated 17+ and intended for adults. The app surfaces references to prediction markets and gambling-adjacent analysis. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the effective date above.
